Narcotics and paraphernalia located during search of Mason City residence

MASON CITY – Illegal narcotics and paraphernalia were located Tuesday during the execution of a search warrant at a Mason City residence.

On Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at about 1:15 PM, investigators with the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at the residence located at 434 East State Street in Mason City. During the search of the residence, a quantity of suspected narcotics and paraphernalia were located. No arrests were made at this time. The case is still under investigation.

Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Mason City Police Department, North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force and the North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force Special Operations Group.

Anyone with information related to illegal activity at this location is asked to contact Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department.
