CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake man is facing a drug possession charge as he is scheduled to go to trial after a previous arrest for marijuana possession.
A Cerro Gordo county deputy stopped a vehicle on the early morning of January 20, 2018, near Highway 18 and 6th Street North in Clear Lake. After an investigation, the driver, 21-year-old Andrew Cole Davis of Clear Lake was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Davis was taken to jail and later posted bond and was released.
Currently, Davis is awaiting a jury trial in Cerro Gordo county scheduled for February 13 for illegal possession of marijuana after an arrest by Clear Lake police back in September of 2017.
