Wanted woman caught stealing from Iowa store as cops close in

SAC CITY, IOWA – A wanted woman was caught stealing from an Iowa store as cops closed in.

On December 24, 2017 around 9:30 PM the Sac City Police Department received information that a wanted person, Sarah Kruckenberg was inside the Sac City Dollar General Store. A check of Ms. Kruckenberg through wanted persons records, showed she had a valid arrest warrant through Sac County. As Ms. Kruckenberg exited the store she was approached and arrested by a Sac City Police Officer. During the arrest, the Sac City Officer discovered that Ms. Kruckenberg had stolen several items from the Dollar General store. The arrest also led the officer to find and seize approximately 8 grams of a substance believed to be Methamphetamine. Ms.Kruckenberg was charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver of Methamphetamine which is a Class “C” Felony. Theft in 5TH Degree for shoplifting, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Interference With Official Acts, all three are simple misdemeanors. Ms. Kruckenberg was booked into the Sac County Jail.
