MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was jailed early Wednesday for drunk driving in a rural Cerro Gordo county location.
Cerro Gordo county deputies responded to a call about suspicious activity Wednesday after midnight near Swaledale at 5846 Lark Avenue. After an investigation, 26-year-old Lindsey Rae Schade of Mason City was arrested on a charge of second-offense operating while intoxicated. She was jailed and later released, pending a court date.
Schade was arrested by Mason City police for reckless driving and first-offense operating while under the influence back on October 11, 2016. Schade and her public defender entered a guilty plea on January 3, 2017. As a result she was sentenced to 2 days in jail, $1,827.50 in fines and court fees and her driver’s license was revoked.
