MASON CITY – A Clear Lake woman was allegedly out-of-control of her vehicle and intoxicated when she rolled the vehicle on Federal Avenue early Friday morning.
Mason City police responded to a single vehicle roll over at 12:53 AM on Friday morning, November 3, near the 1000 block of South Federal Avenue. After an investigation, 23-year-old Jasmine Renee Cook of Clear Lake was arrested and charged with operating while under the influence, failure to have a valid license, failure to maintain control, and failure to prove security against liability.
Cook was jailed and soon released, pending a court date.
This possible drunk driving accident was the first of the day within just a few blocks; the second occurred a few hours later at 19th Street and Federal Avenue.
