RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – A Mason City man was jailed for a drunk driving offense this past weekend.
A Cerro Gordo county deputy conducted a traffic stop on Saturday, October 28 at about 10:55 PM near Yarrow Avenue and 140th Street. As a result of the stop and subsequent investigation, the driver, 55-year-old Dean Raymond Feuring of Mason City was arrested on a charge of second-offense operating while intoxicated. He was also given a warning for inefficient number of headlights.
Feuring was jailed and soon released, pending a court date now set for November 17.
