WEST DES MOINES – Yet another threat was lodged recently against an Iowa school leading to the arrest of a West Des Moines teen.
The West Des Moines Police with the assistance the 5th Judicial District Fugitive Team has made an arrest stemming from a threatening text message that was received by West Des Moines Community School students on or about October 4, 2017.
Kiren Jay Kelly 18 from Des Moines has been charged with one count of Threat of Terrorism a Class D Felony. Kelly was taken to the Polk County Jail.
This threat is just one in several lodged recently in Iowa. As NIT has reported, a threats were sent in Buffalo Center, Mason City, Estherville and Algona.
