
MASON CITY – Law enforcement conducted a drug sweep at a Mason City apartment complex recently and found nothing.
The sweep for illegal substances was conducted on the afternoon of September 6 at the Autumn Park Apartments, located at 710 South Pierce Avenue.
According to Mason City Chief of Police Jeff Brinkley, Mason City “police officers and Task Force Officers were following up on a request from management related to suspicious activity.”
Chief Brinkley tells NIT that “No contraband was found and no charges were filed.”
