CHARLES CITY – A Charles City man was taken to jail for a drug crime after police raided a house.
On September 7, 2017, the Charles City police department executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 900 block of Allison Street. As a result of the search, 28-year-old Joseph Anthony Jordan of Charles City was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to affix a drug tax stamp.
Jordan must appear in court on September 20.
Additional charges are pending the closure of the investigation and could be filed on multiple subjects, police say.
