CHARLES CITY – A Charles City woman was arrested for assault after an incident this past weekend.
Charles City police were called to the 2100 block of Clarkview Drive on Sunday, September 3, 2017. Officers arrived at about 9:54 PM to investigate a disturbance there. As a result, 27-year-old Shyla Piper of Charles City was arrested for serious assault and taken to jail.
Piper was soon released from jail, pending a court date.
