DES MOINES – A convicted Iowa robber recently sent to a work release facility has failed to return to the compound, leading to a search by law enforcement.
Clarence Willis, convicted of two counts of second-degree robbery in Polk County walked away from Fort Des Moines Residential Facility at 5:15 p.m. Monday.
Willis is a 67-year old Black male, height 5’11 and weighing 227 pounds. He was admitted to the work release facility on February 28, 2017.
