EMMETSBURG, IOWA – A Mason City woman was arrested in Palo Alto county this weekend in connection to an identity theft crime.
On Wednesday June 28, 2017, at 8:30 PM, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Betty Jo Lively, age 36 of Mason City, on a valid Palo Alto County warrant for violation of probation. The warrant stems from an original charge of identity theft, which is an aggravated misdemeanor. There was no bond set for the warrant. Hiveley was transported, without incident, to the Palo Alto County Jail and booked in to await her initial appearance before a magistrate.
