MASON CITY – Monday, July 10th is the first day for candidates to file nomination papers for positions on the ballot at the September 12, 2017 Regular School Election. The filing deadline is Thursday, August 3rd.
Cerro Gordo County Auditor Kenneth W. Kline, says persons interested in being candidates for director positions on local school boards or the North Iowa Area Community College Board should contact the county auditor or the appropriate school board secretary.
Nomination forms and information about signature and filing requirements are available on the Cerro Gordo County website www.co.cerro-gordo.ia.us, and at the county auditor’s office. Normal business hours are 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
