CLEAR LAKE – Thanks to a state grant, Clear Lake will begin installing 27 new signs around town to help people find their way to top destinations in the community.
As part of the “Iowa Great Places” grant Clear Lake received, 27 wayfinding signs will be located throughout Clear Lake. The city said via social media that Mayor Nelson Crabb has talked about the signs for 10 years, and shared a photo of him standing next to one.
The new wayfinding signs will go up over the next several days, the city reported
Clear Lake was awarded a $101,000.00 grant for the Surf District in 2014. The funds were designated to be spent on a sound system for the 3 Stars Plaza, the Wayfinding Signage System, Parking Lot Enhancements and Landscaping, and Surf marquee improvements.
