ESTHERVILLE, IOWA – An Estherville man allegedly broke into a house and stole a safe, leading to his arrest on a felony charge.

On May 26, 2017, the Estherville Police Department were dispatched to 420 South 13th Street regarding a burglary complaint. The victim reported that he was missing a safe which contained cash, change, and personal papers. During the investigation, Estherville Police were able to determine that the perpetrator gained entry to the residence by cutting a screen located on the front of the residence.
