MASON CITY – A Mason City man is accused of his second drunk driving offense after he was involved in an auto accident that caused injuries this week.
Mason City police officers were dispatched for a collision involving three vehicles with injuries on Thursday, June 1 at about 4:51 PM at the intersection of Fourth Street SW and Grover Avenue. A state accident report was completed and one driver was arrested, 50-year-old Mark Robert Graves, on a charge of second-offense operating while intoxicated and failure to obey a traffic control device.
Graves was briefly jailed and released as he awaits a hearing set for June 16.
Graves was caught drunk driving by Mason City police back in 2011, and was later guilty.
