EAGLE GROVE – An Eagle Grove man has been sent to prison for sexually abusing children.
On November 18, 2016, Jeddy Nicholas, 37, of Eagle Grove, Iowa, was arrested on one count of Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree (Class B felony), one count of Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree (Class C felony), two counts of Lascivious Acts with a Child (Class C felonies), two counts of Incest (Class D felonies), two counts of Assault with Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse (Class D felonies), and two counts of Indecent Exposure (Serious Misdemeanors). The charges stem from sexual conduct with three minor children (ages reportedly were 6, 8, 11) during the summer and fall of 2016.
Nicholas was sentenced to three consecutive 10-year prison sentences in a plea deal; two of the sentences will run concurrently. He must also pay $1820.00 in court fees and costs.
