Fort Dodge man accused of dealing meth

FORT DODGE – A Fort Dodge man was nabbed on an arrest warrant in connection to dealing meth.

On Thursday, May 18, 2017, Buchanan County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Cody Davis Brown, age 33 of Fort Dodge. Brown was arrested on active arrest warrants out of Buchanan County for original charges of Drug Trafficking – Methamphetamine (class B felony), Possession of Pseudoephedrine with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine (class D felony), Possession of Ammonia Nitrates with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine (class D felony), Possession of Sodium Hydroxide with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine (class D felony), Possession of Lithium with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine (class D felony), Possession of Petroleum Distillates with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine (class D felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor).

This arrest stems from an investigation and search warrant of a possible Methamphetamine lab at a residence located in the 3000 block of Daniel Avenue northwest of Brandon in August of 2016. Brown remains held at the Buchanan County Jail.
