MASON CITY – A Mason City man was taken to jail after he was pulled over and the deputy discovered marijuana.
On Thursday, May 4 at about 10:17 PM, a Cerro Gordo deputy conducted a traffic stop near Killdeer Avenue and 300th Street. After an investigation, the operator of the vehicle was discovered to be a barred driver. Further investigation led to the discovery of marijuana. As a result, 24-year-old Martin Luther Ross was arrested on charges of driving while barred. third-offense possession of marijuana driving with a suspended license, no insurance, and no registration.
Ross was taken to the Cerro Gordo county jail. He quickly posted $2,000 bail through through North Iowa Bonding and was released.

Weed in small amount is NOT ILLEGAL in alot of states – knock off the part that this is some major offense – the other charges sound valid. Where are the DC boys going to get their eight balls once the fence is built?
