MASON CITY – A man who already was sent to prison for drunk driving – and awaits trial for domestic assault involving strangulation – was busted for drunk driving early Saturday morning.
A Cerro Gordo deputy out on patrol happened upon a vehicle in the Fin and Feather park, 16228 230th Street just south of Mason City, after park hours on Saturday, April 22 at about 1:44 AM. After an investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Jacob Douglas Fesko, was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated, driving while barred and driving while revoked.
Fesko was sent to prison back in 2013 after a conviction for third-offense operating while intoxicated. He has been arrested on the charge by Mason city police. He later lost an appeal in that case.
Currently, Fesko is awaiting a jury trial set for May 2 on a domestic abuse assault case that allegedly involved strangulation.
all 3 priors were in 2012/2013
I’m confused. He was arrested for second offense dui and had previously been in prison for third offense dui?????
His first two must have been more than 12 years ago. After twelve years, they fall off, and the tallie starts over.
