MASON CITY – A traffic stop led to the search of two men and areas associated with their alleged criminal drug-dealing enterprise.
On April 3, 2017 about 10:47 AM, deputies conducted a traffic stop in 2900 block of 4th Avenue South in Clear Lake. The search of vehicle, both men inside the vehicle, a residence and a storage unit in Mason City resulted in seizing over one-pound of methamphetamine with a street value of more than $20,000.00.
The traffic stop was the result of an on-going drug investigation, Sheriff Kevin Pals says.
The passenger, 31-year-old Matthew Query of Mason City, is charged with possession with intent to deliver meth, failure to affix drug tax stamp. Query is being held for $100,000.00 cash/surety bond.
The driver, 30-year-old Ronald Frank of Mason City, is charged with Possession with intent to deliver meth, failure to affix drug tax stamp, and possession of controlled substance (marijuana). Frank is being held for $100,000.00 cash/surety bond.
Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Mason City Police, and North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force all assisted in the investigation.
They were both father’s that had jobs they both made a mistake but they were both good people what’s in your closet we are not suppose to judge not our place
