MASON CITY – Spring is here, and that means summer is right around the corner – and public pools will open before you know it.
2017 Aquatic Center Season Passes will be available from the Mason City Recreation Department beginning April 1. The city announced today how the passes work and the cost:
Family Aquatic Center – 2017 Season Passes
ID will consist of Name & Yearly color.
If name is questionable, Photo ID will be required.
Individual Pass $80
Family of 2: $120
Family of 3-4: $145
Family of 5-6: $165
Family of 7-9: $185
Family of 10+: $200
Season passes may purchased online or at the Recreation Office beginning April 1. If pass is stolen or lost there will be a $5 charge for a replacement.
Under current policy, “the Mason City Aquatic Center will NOT open if the projected high for the day is BELOW 74 degrees. We will be using KIMT‘s weather forecast at 11:00 AM each day to make our decision.”
Nearby, the City of Nora Springs is now accepting applications for lifeguards, concession staff, and management at the Aquatic Center for Summer 2017. Lifeguards are always hard to come by, as Mason City is always seeking to hire more staff for this important job.
