ROCKWELL – Police took a Rockwell man to jail after an alleged domestic abuse incident.
On Monday evening, March 6, 2017, Rockwell police responded to 121 Walnut Street for a domestic incident. As a result of the incident and investigation, police arrested 32-year-old Lucas Scott Winfrey of that address for aggravated domestic abuse assault involving strangulation.
Winfrey was taken to the county jail until he went before a judge, who released him after a no-contact order was put in place. He is due in court on March 24.
