CHARLES CITY – A Charles City woman was taken to jail for drunk driving.
A Charles City police officer conducted a traffic stop on February 26, 2017 at about 1:58 AM at the intersection of Main Street an Court Street. After an investigation, the officer arrested the driver, 26-year-old Jessica Northrup, on a charge of first-offense operating while intoxicated.
Northrop was jailed and soon released, pending a March 3 court date.
