DAVENPORT, IOWA – Two people were shot early Sunday in Davenport and one of them died, police say.
On Sunday, February 12, 2017, at approximately 12:52 AM, officers with the Davenport Police Department responded to the Hotel Davenport, 5202 Brady Street in reference to a report of shots fired and possible gunshot victims. Upon arrival, officers located two subjects with suspected gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to Genesis East Hospital. One was treated and released. The other, a 29-year-old male from Peoria, Illinois, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
