MASON CITY – A Mason City man is facing a sexual assault charge.
Mason City police brought a charge of third-degree sexual assault against 22-year-old Murtaza Ahmed of Mason City on January 6. Allegedly, the sex assault was oral in nature and took place in downtown Mason City on December 13, 2014.
A no-contact order was imposed on Ahmed after he was arrested January 9. He was apparently released form jail as he awaits court hearings.
