MASON CITY – The NIACC women’s basketball team is ranked No. 16 in the NJCAA Division II poll released Tuesday.
NIACC (5-4 overall) was No. 14 in the preseason ratings in late October and ranked No. 9 in last week’s poll.
Kirkwood (9-0) is ranked No. 1 and DMACC (10-2) is ranked No. 10.
It is the seventh straight poll that has included NIACC as the Lady Trojans were ranked in the final four polls of the 2015-16 season.
NIACC returns to action Friday at MCC-Penn Valley in Kansas City. The Lady Trojans play No. 5 Johnson County CC (13-5) on Saturday in Overland Park, Kan.
