Felon arrested for domestic assault in Osage

OSAGE – A man who was caught, convicted and eventually sent to prison for felony theft out of Mason City and burglary out of Mitchell was jailed recently for domestic abuse in Osage.

Kevin Vincent Mulling, age 31 of Osage, was arrested on the afternoon of November 10 by Osage police after they were called to his apartment on Ash Street. He was charged with simple domestic assault and jailed.

Mulling was sent to prison in 2015 for felony theft and burglary charges as mentioned previously, but apparently didn’t serve much of his 5-year sentence. He had been accused of crimes in Mason City that year as well. He owes the entire sum of $1,811.95 in fines and court costs connected to his burglary charge in Mitchell county and a third party debt collector is pursuing that. He also owes the entire sum of $3,838.75 out of Cerro Gordo county connected to his felony second-degree theft charge brought by Mason City police.
