MASON CITY – NorthIowaToday.com would like to announce that there will be a Mason City council candidate forum held on Tuesday, September 13 beginning at 6:30 PM. This event will be held at the THE MASON CITY LIBRARY IN THE MASON CITY ROOM. This is an upgraded location due to the anticipted high turnout. You are welcome to arrive beginning at 6 PM to mingle with candidates. NIT Publisher Matt Marquardt will moderate, with some basic questions and then he will take questions from the public for the candidates. This will be a light, friendly and fun way for the public to meet all of our candidates for the at-large city council seat. The election is a week later on September 20.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend. The room seats over 90 people. There will be coffee, juice and cookies available to everyone.
