CHARLES CITY – A man who spent time in the Indiana prison system was caught drunk driving in Charles City.
Larry Ragle, age 41 with unknown address, was stopped by Charles City police on August 6 at about 1:15 at the 700 block of Clark Street due to a traffic violation. After the officer investigated, Ragle was arrested on a charge of first offense operating while intoxicated. He was also cited for no insurance, no registration, no driver’s license, and failure to obey a flashing red signal.
Ragle is due in court on August 26. He was also cited in floyd county on July 12 for no driver’s license.
Ragle was transported from Floyd county to Indiana on October 26, 2012, due to a bench warrant out of Indiana connected to his parole from prison there for a crime online records describe as intimidation.
In 2000, Ragle was guilty of drunk driving in that state.
