THORTON, IOWA – A Thornton woman is behind bars Sunday after law enforcement responded to a domestic incident.
On Sunday, July 10, 2016 around 1:00 PM, Cerro Gordo County deputies were dispatched to a domestic abuse assault at 312 Larch Street in Thornton, Iowa. After deputies arrived and investigated, Ms. Sandie Lea Knutson of Thornton was arrested for felony domestic assault. The alleged victim was a 34-year-old male from Thornton.
The incident is still under investigation by the Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs Office.
