MASON CITY – Police were called to a local residence and ended up taking a man to jail.
Mason City police officers were dispatched to 609 North Monroe Avenue on the evening of June 16 to speak with a female reference a verbal domestic. Officer spoke with the female and the male subjects and gave advice to resolve the issue.
However, a man who lives at that address, 31-year-old Johnny Lee Cunningham, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct. He later entered a not-guilty plea and awaits a July 20 trial.
