FOREST CITY, IOWA – Two men were arrested on drug charges by Forest City police during a recent traffic stop.
The incident took place May 29 at about 2:12 AM in Forest City near West I Street and Chapel Street. Police stopped a vehicle at that intersection and investigated the persons inside the car.
Arrested as a result of the traffic stop was Maurice K’Kwon Wilson, age 18 of Pembroke Pines, Florida. He was charged with Possession of Marijuana. Also arrested was Blake Hayden Harris, age 18 of Forest City. He was charged with Operating Under the Influence of Drugs and no insurance.
Both men were taken to the Winnebago county jail and later bonded out. Online court records are incomplete in both cases, showing no upcoming court dates.

Regardless of one’s political leanings, it is disrespectful to call the President by anything other than his title, President Obama.
It is a courtesy given to all presidents regardless of political affiliation and it should be given to President Obama.
If you don’t agree with his political affiliations (which is the American Way) then respectfully disagree and debate, don’t throw a tantrum on the floor with your arms and legs kicking and start name calling.
You embarrass yourself and display for all to see that you are not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.

Do you know that for sure or are you just assuming so because this site just decided to publish the black kids photo? And judging by the charges, these young men had a small amount of marijuana on them which could have been a joint or a roach.
That is a dumb comment. There is no such thing as a little breaking of the law.
I didn’t say they didn’t break the law. But, why publish the photo of one of the criminals and not the other. The comment by Anonymous makes the statement they aren’t “home grown” and alleges this is the President’s fault. One of the alleged law breakers is from Florida, the other from Forest City. Both could be Waldorf students. The small amount of marijuana found shows they aren’t dealers. So, my “dumb comment” was meant to point out that this wasn’t some import coming into Forest City to sell drugs.
