MASON CITY – Police were called to a house near East Park recently after a person wearing a ski-mask was spotted going inside.
The incident took place at 5:14 PM, March 29. A call was made to police reporting a subject wearing a ski mask entered a residence at 624 3rd Street NE. Police tell NIT that the caller knew the residents were away from the house.
A number of officers responded to the scene, investigated and verified it was the residents’ relative wearing a ski mask that entered the house.
“Everything was fine,” a police spokesman told NIT.
