Mason City teen reported missing

missingMASON CITY – A Mason City teen has been reported as missing, and police are seeking clues to help bring him home.

Mason City police tell NIT that at about 9 AM Friday morning, 16-year-old Kyle C. Movick was reported missing from the 400 block of 19th Street SE. Movick is believed to have run away voluntarily, police say.

“Movick is a white male, approx. 5’ tall and 130 lbs. He has blondish-brown shaggy hair. Unknown where he may be at this time. Movick has run away several times before,” police spokesman described. They said they did not get a release from parents to use his photo as of yet.

Their sons missing and no picture of him dont understand that,even if he ran away id want my childs picture posted everywhere! Hope he comes home safe

I agree with u on that- i think that’s a little odd there isn’t a pic of him:/

Maybe they just haven’t been able to reach the parents or they haven’t had time to go to the station to sign the release yet. They may be working or out looking for their son.
