RURAL MASON CITY – A Twin Cities man with no U.S. driver’s license was jailed for doing nearly 40 miles per hour over the posted speed limit just outside Mason City.
Cerro Gordo deputies stopped a 2012 gray Volkswagen driven by Ahmed M Aljuhayf Alhussain of St. Paul, Minnesota on January 30 at about 11:28 AM. The stop was conducted near the 182 mile marker on Highway 18 west bound (Avenue of the Saints). Alhussain has allegedly traveling at 103 miles per hour in the 65 miles per hour zone.
Alhussain has taken to jail and booked on the excessive speed charge. His Volkswagen was towed to the Law Enforcement Center due to the arrest for bond on the speeding charge and the fact he had no U.S. driver’s license. He could face at least $321.50 in fines, surcharges and court costs.
Alhussain posted bond, paid the tow bill and left the jail.
I part company with Obama on the Muslim issue. Regardless that the Constitution of the United States allows free religious practice, they never intended the religion to usurp or contravene the Constitution which grants it life. Islam should be reclassified as a political ideology first, and a religion second. Christianity and Buddhism explicitly state in their doctrines not to become involved with government past following the rules to survive, but they make no mention of overthrow or insurrection. Islam does. It’s different, and the President is wrong. He does a disservice to those killed by Muslims in the name of their beloved ALLAH. NO ISLAM in IOWA. Keep it out.
