PLYMOUTH, IOWA – Law enforcement was called to a remote area in Plymouth early Sunday for a domestic incident involving a possibly armed person, leading to two arrests.
A female called for help at about 1:11 AM Sunday saying her “ex” was at her home at 22097 Fallspark Drive, Unit B, and possibly armed with a knife and refused to leave. Cerro Gordo deputies arrived on the scene and conducted an investigation. At the conclusion of fact-finding, 29-year-old Ashley Joanne Dewaard was arrested and charged with domestic abuse assault. Also arrested was Ryan Jon Driscoll. He was charged with driving under suspension.
Both were taken to the Cerro Gordo county jail, booked and released.
