MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was taken to jail after a traffic stop.
A traffic stop was conducted by a Cerro Gordo deputy late Tuesday before midnight at Monroe Avenue and 4th Street SW. During the stop, the deputy discovered the driver, 48-year-old Kelli Jo Nelson, had a revoked driver’s license and no registration. Unlawful prescription medical was also found. In this case, certain medications were not in the proper packaging.
Nelson was taken to jail on these charges, booked, and later released.
