MASON CITY – A Mason City man was jailed after a failed theft attempt at an adult novelty store.
Cerro Gordo deputies were called to Pure Pleasure, 10480 265th Street in rural Mason City Tuesday morning, August 18, 2015 just before 1 AM.
According to Sheriff Kevin Pals, Cody Wesley Kirchner was arrested at Pure Pleasure for 5th degree theft after he failed to get away with $43.00 worth of merchandise.
Kirchner was imprisoned in a state institution for burglarizing cars in Ida county back in 2009, and is still battling that case in court, as he was found guilty last month of failing to pay fees and fines he owes.
