HAMPTON – Republican Presidential Candidate Rick Perry will visit Hampton this month.
Perry will be in Hampton for a meet-and-greet on Monday, July 13th at 2:30 PM at Rustic Brew. Perry, a former Texas Governor, announced his candidacy for the 2016 Republican nomination on June 4th with the support of several Navy SEALs. The SEALs appeared on stage during his announcement with Taya Kyle, widow of “American Sniper” Chris Kyle and Marcus Luttrell.
The Republican Party of Franklin County will also have a presence at the meet-and-greet to answer questions for anyone who would like to volunteer during the 2016 Iowa Caucus cycle. They encourage anyone planning to attend the event to RSVP to Quentin@RickPerry.org.
