Wal-Mart won’t sell items with Confederate Flag

Wal-Mart

BENTONVILLE, ARKANSAS – Wal-Mart said Monday night it will no longer sell items with the Confederate Flag.

Via social media, Wal-Mart responded to a person’s comment “No more Confederate Flags, NO MORE OF MY MONEY!!” with the statement “We never want to offend anyone with the products that we offer. We have taken steps to remove all items promoting the confederate flag from our assortment, whether in our stores or on our web site.”

Pressure is mounting on states, too, who continue to fly the flag on public grounds. Reportedly, South Carolina, Mississippi and Tennessee are among the states considering a move to put the flag away. Some, such as President Obama, want to see the flag retired to museums.

This is because the confederate flag is made in America and OLD GLORY is made in china .

More crap from Wal-mart

Goodness sakes Allen. You really took my comment to heart. I didn’t mean to offend you or anyone else. I just dont care for walmart. I don’t like cheaply made clothes and shoes, etc. I don’t mean to be snobbish. I just like quality things that last. And I’m just a middle class person. I live pay day to pay day like alot of people. There’s other stores I feel the same way about…Rue 21 is another. I won’t buy my teenagers clothes there, after a couple washings the stuff us falling apart.

I guess I just feel that i work too hard for my money and when I buy something I expect it to last.

And walmart is not going to go under just because I won’t shop there. There’s plenty of people that do support walmart, they will survive without my money.

@Anonymous-If you look at the products offered by WalMart and compare them to other stores you will find the prices are about the same. The products are the same. If there is a difference it doesn’t amount to much as far as quality or product. They lure people in with some cheap stuff. Some of the grocery items are a little less but their produce and fruit and eggs are way higher and not as good as other stores. Be selective when you shop there and you can save a little.

OK, you didn’t offend me. I have compared anything I buy at Wal-Mart with the other stores in town and found Wal-Mart to be less expensive. When all is said and done, if you look at the label (on clothes) that I buy, none of it is made in the USA. But, there are things that I won’t buy at Wal-Mart because of quality.

All of the stores seem to buy foreign products. Very little made in the U.S.A.
