CHARLES CITY – Police arrested a woman after they investigated a fight in Charles City.

Charles City police were called to the 400 block of 8th Avenue on May 23 for a disturbance. Upon arrival, police witnessed a fight in progress and the participants scattered. Officers continued to investigate and as a result, 18-year-old Antonia Baker was arrested for interference with official acts. She was later charged with assault on a peace officer for her actions during her arrest.

Baker was taken to the county jail where she was held until May 26. She was released pending a court date.

  1. “interference with official acts”, and “assault on a peace officer” sounds like she was looking to get shot, or at least tased…

  2. She is not from Charles City. Looks like a Chitcago import to me. Chuck town has gone to hell in a handbasket with all the imports.
