STORM LAKE – Two people sought by law enforcement after allegedly stealing from the Wal-Mart store in Storm Lake led to their surrender this weekend.
On the afternoon of Friday, May 1, 2015, at approximately 4:00 PM, two persons surrendered themselves at the Storm Lake Police Station in connection with a theft investigation.
Bendjy Joseph, age 29, of Fort Dodge, IA, and Sidney Loxterkamp, age 19, of Sac City, IA, surrendered at the Storm Lake Police Station after their pictures were posted on the Storm Lake Police Department Facebook page in connection with an alleged theft at the Storm Lake Wal-Mart Store. They were being sought in connection with the alleged theft of a car stereo from the store valued at $250.00.
Police charged both Joseph and Loxterkamp with Theft 4th Degree (serious misdemeanor). They were booked into the Buena Vista County Jail and released pending a court date.
