WAVERLY – A Plainfield woman is facing a felony theft charge as well as a burglary charge for an on-going caper in that town.
On April 30, the Bremer County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jessica Hyde, age 39 of Plainfield, on charges of theft in the 2nd degree and burglary in the 3rd degree. Both charges are class “D” felonies. These charges stem from a report that was taken by the Sheriff’s Office on January 26th, 2015. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that Hyde had stolen over $6,800 in cash from a residence in Plainfield during a 4 month period.
Hyde was booked into the Bremer County Jail and released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to appear before a judge at a later date.
