Lake Mills woman arrested for domestic assault

CLEAR LAKE – A Lake Mills woman was jailed Sunday after a domestic situation.

Cerro Gordo deputies were called to 909 7th Avenue North at about 6 PM Sunday night to assist Clear Lake police with a domestic situation. After an investigation at the scene, deputies arrested 41-year-olf Carrie Ineson Dirks on a charge of serious domestic assault. She was taken to the jail, processed and held on no bond, where she remained Monday morning.

Dirks was charged last year with domestic assault, but the charge was dismissed.

She needs to be put behind bars. But just like every other time, she will not get in real trouble. She’ll be back to her old drunken, abusive ways in no time.

Attitude change would help too.

She needs to take a shower, wash her hair and join a women’s boxing club to relieve her frustration. She has a problem with anger Management.
