MASON CITY- A Ventura woman who was stopped and arrested for second offense drunk driving and trespassing in Mason City has pled guilty and now faces a drug charge.

Stephanie Elaine Thiel, age 27 of Ventura, was stopped in Mason City on September 13, 2014 at about 11:41 PM near Southbridge Mall. Thiel had been on railroad property, allegedly, and police pulled her over and conducted a field sobriety test after they were alerted. Thiel was charged with second offense operating while intoxicated and trespassing on railroad property and arrested. She initially pleaded not-guilty to both charges.

Earlier this year, Thiel pleaded guilty to second offense operating while intoxicated. She was sentenced to seven days in jail and ordered to pay $2,949.38 in fines and court fees. The trespassing charge was dismissed.

Meanwhile, Thiel was arrested in Dickinson county this year for possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license due to drunk driving. She is still in court on those charges.
