MASON CITY – A Clear Lake man is behind bars Thursday for the second time in connection to domestic incident.
Adam David Lane, age 29 of Clear Lake, was arrested on March 19 at about 4:20 PM after police were called to investigate a domestic assault incident. Lane was taken to jail on charges of felony second degree burglary, first offense domestic abuse, and obstruction of emergency communications. He has been held on no bond.
A no-contact order between Lane and his alleged victim was put in place by a judge early in April. Following that, Lane attempted on 11 occasions to contact the protected party. He is now charged with 11 counts of violating a no-contact order and suborning perjury. He will face a contempt of court hearing later this month.
