CEDAR RAPIDS – A man who allegedly robbed a Cedar Rapids bank Wednesday afternoon didn’t stay free for long.
Cedar Rapids Police announced that they have arrested and charged a suspect in Wednesday’s robbery of a U.S. Bank. Police officers were called to U.S. Bank at 3401 Mount Vernon Road SE at 2:30 PM. A male subject had entered the bank, demanded cash, and left on foot, and an investigation was launched.
Based on information obtained during the investigation, police were able to make an arrest Wednesday evening around 8:30 PM in the 900 block of 28th Street SE.
Nicholas Roger Parry, age 38, of 1485 Meadowview Drive, Apt. #11 in Marion, has been charged with felony C second degree robbery. Parry was arrested and transported to the Linn County Jail, where remains held at this time.
Investigators believe that Parry acted alone.
