MANCHESTER, IA – Police arrested five people after investigating a trespassing incident in this small Iowa town.
According to a statement from Manchester, Iowa Chief of Police James R. Hauschild authorized on March 5, 2015, an investigation took place on December 21, 2014 the Manchester Police Department involving a trespass violation in the 1500 block of North Franklin. During the course of that investigation, an officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from an apartment. Further investigation uncovered illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia. The investigation also revealed one of the individuals that was present delivered marijuana to the apartment.
