MASON CITY – A man wanted in a drug case in Winnebago county turned himself in to Mason City police.
Mark Douglas Urbatsch, age 57 of Manly, was wanted in Winnebago county for his second probation violation connected to an arrest by the Iowa State Patrol in 2012 where he was charged with drunk driving a felony drug possession. He later pled guilty to the felony drug charges but the drunk driving charge was dismissed.
Urbatsch went to Mason City police headquarters on December 15 and surrendered on the warrant. He was transported to Winnebago county and soon bonded out of jail. He now awaits a January 6 hearing.
